New flight destinations from Munich and Frankfurt
Lufthansa will strengthen its hubs in Munich and Frankfurt.
The airline reports that starting in March they will be flying non-stop from Munich to Rio de Janeiro and to San Diego in the USA. In addition, they will fly directly to Bangkok again. The new flight connections from Munich replace the current Frankfurt flights. Suitable feeder flights are planned.
From June 1, 2022, Lufthansa will be offering non-stop flights from Frankfurt to St. Louis in Missouri three times a week.
New connections are also to be offered in the summer timetable. According to Lufthansa, the number of intra-European connections from the Frankfurt and Munich hubs should almost reach the level of 2019 again with around 5,000 weekly flights.
From Frankfurt there are new flights offered to Liverpool, Rennes and Stavanger.
Five new holiday destinations are on the flight schedule from Munich: Bergen, Billund, Kalamata, the Balearic island of Menorca and Varna.
