TAP Air Portugal expands its transatlantic connections to North America and Brazil in the summer of 2024

The number of flights from Lisbon to Recife, Brazil, will be increased by six additional connections to a total of 13 weekly frequencies. Fortaleza and Rio de Janeiro will be increased by two flights per week to a total of nine and 12 flights per week, respectively.
Additionally, TAP will increase its connections between Lisbon and Belém, Brasília, Natal/Maceio, Porto Alegre, Salvador, and São Paulo by one flight per week.
The airline will offer a total of 96 flights per week between Portugal and Brazil.

Compared to summer 2023, four additional flights per week will be operated to Toronto, Canada, bringing the total to 14 flights per week. Furthermore, the number of flights between Lisbon and Montreal will be increased from five to six flights per week.

Washington will now be served twice daily, representing an increase of four connections per week compared to summer 2023. The offering between Lisbon and San Francisco will also be expanded from five to six flights per week. Overall, TAP will offer 77 flights per week between Portugal and the USA this summer.

This summer, TAP will also operate three times weekly between Lisbon and Caracas. A new addition is that one of these flights per week will make a stop in Funchal on either the outbound or return journey, providing an attractive option for passengers traveling to and from Madeira on this route.
