Air France implements “Connect France” to improve flight connections at Charles de Gaulle Airport

Air France-KLM and Groupe ADP have launched Connect France, a partnership aimed at enhancing the passenger experience at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Their first initiative, the “Short Connection Pass,” debuts this summer and prioritizes connecting passengers in Paris based on the time they have available to make their connection.
Air France’s flight schedule is optimized to ensure smooth connections for both passengers and their baggage, but unforeseen circumstances can sometimes reduce the available time to transfer between flights. If a passenger has a short connection (e.g., under 45 minutes), they are automatically enrolled in the priority process—no action required.
Passengers receive notifications via SMS, email, and soon through the Air France app or WhatsApp, informing them of their eligibility for expedited access. Scanning their boarding pass at security or border control notifies staff, who then provide fast-track access. The system uses real-time data—such as walking times, wait times, and flight updates—to streamline transfers.
