Austrian to significantly ramp up US flights
With the start of the 2014 summer season, Austrian Airlines intends to boost its offer for US-bound flights. On top of the daily flights from Vienna to New York JFK, there shall be five flights per week to Newark as of 2nd July. Newark airport does not only boast a relatively swift connection to Manhattan, but also offers various connecting flights thanks to the hub of Star Alliance partner United Airlines. As early as May, Austrian will serve the Chicago destination daily instead of five times a week.
