Austrian sending text messages in case of delay

In the case of delay (from 30 minutes) or flights being cancelled, flight passengers will, via the new Austrian “yourUpdate” service, automatically receive a text or an e-mail with information on the current flight status and contact details for changing flight reservations without having to register. For this, all that passengers have to do is specify their personal mobile-phone number or e-mail address when booking the flight. Miles & More members who are already registered online will be informed automatically. At Vienna Airport, passengers will also be informed of changes with regard to departure gates.
