As of 1 October 2013, Germanwings will relocate to Check-In 3 at Vienna Airport. Austrian Airlines will take care of the handling of all Germanwings flights and of all activities connected with check-in. Thus, from this date, all subsidiaries of Lufthansa Group will be united under the same roof, offering customers numerous benefits.
In order to make boarding smoother and swifter, airberlin is now providing for the possibility of group boarding. The respective group (A-D) is printed on the boarding pass and called one after another during boarding.
