Turkish Airlines relocates

,

Turkish Airlines has been operating from its new home at Istanbul’s new airport since 6 April 2019. Flights from Atatürk have been almost fully phased out.

Turkish Airlines’ relocation to its new home at Istanbul’s new airport is 96% complete. Like the airline’s maiden voyage 86 years earlier, the first flight took off from Ankara on time. Once the relocation is completed it will represent a major milestone in the history of Turkish Airlines. All but finished, the phased transfer of operations to what is tipped to become the “world’s largest airport” (code IST) only started on 29 October 2018.

All Turkish Airlines flights originally scheduled to depart from Atatürk Airport will now take off from Istanbul Airport. Due to the changeover, individual services may be cancelled. Contact one of our booking experts for details!
